Caricatures

"Live Drawn" caricatures are drawn live at an event. "Studio" caricatures are drawn in my studio, from e-mailed photographs.

Generally, when I am hired to draw live at an event I work in traditional media (pen on paper). I can draw about a dozen black and white caricatures per hour, about half as many if I'm working in color. I can print your logo or slogan on the paper in advance, on for an additional fee I can design and print a custom background scene. I can also draw caricatures live digitally, on my ipad. The process is slower (6-8 per hour) and comes with a few technology requirements. Pen on paper is best for company picnics, weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties, and promotional events, any where the number of caricatures produced is important. Ipad digital caricatures are great when the "wow" factor is more important than the actual number of caricatures created, as in a trade show.

Studio caricatures make great retirement or engagement gifts. I work in a variety of media, and generally, I e-mail the final product. Some companies have hired me to create caricatures of their staff to post on their website.
